It’s against the law to sell an item at a consignment sale that has been recalled. Make sure to check the Recall List before you bring your items to consign.
If you’re unsure whether your items are recalled by looking at the website, call the manufacturer’s 1-800 number. They can tell you if your item is safe for selling.
You may also want to check WeMakeItSafer (or use the embedded search tool below), a new, free recall search service. This service also offers a mobile app to check for recalled items directly from your mobile device.
Protect the safety of the children who might use your items later. If they aren’t safe, please don’t pass them along. Thank you.
