As a part of the COVID19 response protocol, the Wee-Cycle It Children’s Consignment Sale has put forth the following guidelines, in compliance with the State of VA and the SWVA Higher Education Center:
Per the SWVA Higher Education Center, “masks will be required in public indoor areas for everyone, regardless of vaccination status.”
We ask that if you have had a fever with the last 48 hours of participation, had a sore throat, cough, or if you have been in contact with an individual that is being tested for COVID-19 virus PLEASE STAY AT HOME – everyone’s health and safety is of the upmost importance.
Hand sanitizer will be provided at each check-in station, check-out register and in designated spots throughout the Grand Hall.
Highly touched surfaces will be sanitized regularly.
Wee-Cycle reserves the right to cancel this event at any time depending on the following circumstances: Government restrictions, SWVA Higher Education Center policies, rise in local cases, lack of consignors or volunteers, any acts of God or circumstances out of our control.
SHOPPERS:
Fortunately, there are no limits of numbers in attendance.
Big blue shopping bags will still be provided at this time and will be sprayed with Lysol between uses. There will be disposable bags for checkout upon exit.
VOLUNTEERS:
Volunteers will still earn their appointed shopping time on Tuesday presale based on the number of hours worked.
Volunteers will still earn ONE Friend pass for 7pm on Tuesday presale.
Aprons for volunteers will not be used until presale night and public sale, until we run out.
Prepackaged snacks and drinks will still be provided between shifts, but no meals will be served to volunteers. There will not be seating for eating.
These guidelines are evolving and may change or be added to up to or during the sale dates. Please be patient and flexible with us as we try, in a good faith effort, to assist families in our community.
